Welcome to Singji. By using the Singji mobile application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Singji Does

Singji is a language tool that helps users practice singing songs in Korean and Japanese. Users provide their own lyrics; Singji processes them using AI-powered text processing and optional playback features.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple
• You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account

3. User-Generated Content

Your Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for any content you paste, upload, or enter into the App, including lyrics
• You represent that you have the right to use any content you provide for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates any third party's rights

Our Rights

• We do not claim ownership of your content
• We may process and store results derived from your input to improve the service for all users
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or in response to valid legal requests (e.g., DMCA takedown notices)

Copyright Notice

Singji does not provide, host, or distribute copyrighted lyrics. All lyrics are entered by users for personal use. If you are a rights holder and believe content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at singji.help@gmail.com and we will promptly address the issue.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• Singji offers free and premium tiers
• Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled through your app store account
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google, not Singji
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

Free Tier Limitations

• Limited number of songs in your library
• Access to core features

Premium Features

• Unlimited songs
• Additional modes and features
• Priority processing

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. YouTube Content

The App may integrate with YouTube for music playback. Your use of YouTube content through the App is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Singji does not download, store, or redistribute YouTube video content.

7. AI-Powered Features

• Some features are powered by AI and may contain errors
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated output
• AI processing is performed server-side; only lyrics text is sent (no personal data)

8. Intellectual Property

• The Singji app, brand, design, and code are owned by us
• AI-generated outputs are provided for your personal use
• You may not commercially redistribute AI-generated outputs at scale

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of any AI-generated output
• Availability of any specific feature
• Compatibility with all devices

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SINGJI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our servers (see Privacy Policy for details).

12. DMCA / Copyright Takedown

If you believe content on Singji infringes your copyright:

1. Send a written notice to singji.help@gmail.com identifying the infringing content
2. Include your contact information and a statement of good faith belief
3. We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you also retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
